Merenga se trata sobre el camino de la mujer a lo largo del tiempo; de cómo ha sido abrumada y callada por las cargas de la sociedad al punto de sumisión. A través de los siglos, la mujer ha utilizado la creatividad como una herramienta para borrar esa imagen de ella misma como objeto, y consecuentemente, al fin ha podido encontrar su voz.

Merenga is about the journey of women through time; how they used to be overwhelmed and muted by societal pressures to the point of submission. Over the centuries, creativity has served women as a powerful tool to terminate the image of themselves as mere objects, and consequently, enabled them to finally find their voice.
